Analysis tools

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event of IP anonymization being activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. 11. Social Media Links
We link to the social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube on our website using the respective icons. These are hyperlinks through which no data transmission occurs. If you click on the link, you will be immediately redirected to our respective social media presence. Data transmission to the respective social media service only occurs if you are logged into your respective user account. In this case, the respective social media platform may obtain information about which content you have viewed on our site.

The entities responsible for the social media services we link to are exclusively:

for Facebook and its website, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA;

for Instagram and its website, Instagram, LLC, 1601 Willow Rd. Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA;

for YouTube and its website, YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., St. Bruno, CA 94066, USA;

For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of your data by the respective social media service, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective platform.

12. Facebook Connect

We use the "Facebook Connect" service from Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Facebook") on our website. We offer you the option to log in to our website using Facebook Connect if you have a Facebook profile and give us explicit consent to exchange data with Facebook. In this case, no additional registration is required. To log in, you will be redirected to Facebook's page, where you can log in with your user data. This establishes a direct connection between your browser and Facebook's servers, linking your Facebook profile with our service. Through this link, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. Depending on your privacy settings on Facebook, we automatically receive the following information from Facebook Inc. (name, email address, date of birth, address, Facebook name, user ID, age, gender, and possibly profile picture, friend list, and likes). We only use your name, email address, date of birth, and address from this data to create a user account, if you have shared them on Facebook. This information is necessary for the conclusion of the contract to be able to identify you.

For more information on Facebook Connect and privacy settings, please refer to the privacy notices and terms of use of Facebook Inc. http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

If you do not want Facebook to link the data obtained through our website with your Facebook profile, it is necessary for you to log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also exclude the Facebook Connect plugin with add-ons for your browser.

Revocation
The consent given for the exchange of data via Facebook Connect can be revoked at any time for the future by sending a message to Tel: +49 40 3204997 0 or Email: yachticon@yachticon.de .

13. Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA, on our site. With the Google Tag Manager, marketers can manage website tags through an interface. A tag is a marker or label of a data set. The Tag Manager itself, which deploys the tags, works without cookies and does not collect personal data. The tags set up via the Google Tag Manager only ensure the collection of data that is passed on to the target system. Since the data is only passed through, the system does not collect or store the data itself. The Tag Manager thus only triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Corresponding explanations for these respective third-party providers can be found in this privacy policy. However, the Google Tag Manager does not use this data. If you have set or otherwise made a deactivation of cookies, this will be respected for all tracking tags used with the Google Tag Manager, so the tool does not change your cookie settings.

Google may ask for your permission to share some product data (e.g., your account information) with other Google products to enable certain features, such as simplifying the addition of new conversion tracking tags for AdWords. Additionally, Google developers periodically review product usage information to further optimize the product. However, Google will not share such data with other Google products without your consent.

You can find more information in Google's Terms of Use and Google's Privacy Notices for this product.

14. Newsletter

(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, through which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the consent declaration.

(2) To sign up for our newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration, we send an email to the specified email address asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within [24 hours], your information will be locked and automatically deleted after one month. Additionally, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to verify your registration and, if necessary, clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) The only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing additional, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

(4) You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter email, by emailing (yachticon@yachticon.de), or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint.
To send our newsletters, we use the service Klaviyo from Klaviyo Inc, Boston, USA. The data stored during newsletter registration (email address, possibly name, IP address, date, and time of registration) is transferred to a server of Klaviyo Inc. in the USA and stored there in compliance with the "U.S. Privacy Shield". For more information on data protection at Klaviyo, please visit: http://klaviyo.com/privacy/.

(5) We would like to point out that we analyze your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the sent emails contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. For the analysis, we link the data mentioned in § 3 and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. We record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on in them, and deduce your personal interests from this.
Right to Object

You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking the separate link provided in each email or by contacting us through another means, e.g., via email: yachticon@yachticon.de inform. The information is stored as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we store the data purely statistically and anonymously. Such tracking is also not possible if you have images disabled by default in your email program. In this case, the newsletter will not be fully displayed, and you may not be able to use all functions. If you manually display the images, the aforementioned tracking will occur.

15. Remarketing/ Retargeting

(1) On our websites, we use Facebook Inc.'s "Custom Audiences" for retargeting or remarketing purposes, located at 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). This service uses so-called tracking or remarketing pixels. These are pixel image files that allow for log file analysis. By using the pixels, the service provider can see when and how many users have accessed the pixel, or if and when an email was opened or a website was visited.

(2) With the help of this service, users of the website can be shown interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") during their visit to the social network Facebook or other websites that also use the procedure. We pursue the interest of showing you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more appealing to you. When visiting our website, a direct connection to Facebook's servers is established via the pixel. This enables Facebook to identify you based on the browser ID, as it can be linked to your user account. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online presence or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will learn and store your IP address and other identification features.

(3) The deactivation of the "Facebook Custom Audiences" feature is possible for logged-in users at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_.

(4) The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. For more information on data processing by Facebook, please visit https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Right to object
If you do not wish to see advertisements generated by the respective targeting service, you can object to the use of retargeting technology on our websites by sending us a message at yachticon@yachticon.de.
